Ingredients for Goan Sauge Pulao Recipe
Sausages - 15 - 20 nos
(chopped)
Basmati rice - 2 cups
(washed and dried on a kitchen cloth for an hour)
Water - 3 cups
Onions - 2 nos
(sliced)
Tomato - 2 nos
(finely chopped)
Green chillies - 2 nos
(finely chopped)
Ginger-garlic paste - 2 tsp
Garam masala powder/any pulao masala - 1 tsp
Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
Maggi cubes(small) - 2 nos
Salt - As reqd
Oil - 2 - 3 tbsp
Fresh coriander leaves - A bunch
(finely chopped)
Potato french fries for garnishing

Preparation Method of Goan Sauge Pulao Recipe
1)Heat oil in a pressure cooker.

2)Add the sliced onions and fry, till they become soft and pink.

3)Add the ginger-garlic paste and saute for a while.

4)Add the chopped tomatoes and green chillies and cook, till oil leaves the sides of the vessel.

5)Add garam masala/pulao masala, turmeric powder and stir for a minute or two.

6)Add the chopped sausages and fry well.

:- The mixture will get quite oily.

7)Add rice and salt, if required.

8)Stir the rice for 5 mins, till it is fully coated with the masala.

:- See that the rice does not break.

9)Add 3 cups of water and crumbled Maggi cubes.

10)Cover and cook on high flame.

11)Once the steam is let out, cook on low flame for 5 mins.

12)Garnish with French fries and chopped coriander leaves.
