Ingredients for Creamy Cashew Curry Recipe

Cashew nuts - 100 gm
Onions - 2 nos
(cut into small pieces)
Ginger-garlic paste - 2 tsp
Green chillies - 3 nos
Red chilly powder - 1 tsp
Coriander powder - 1/2 tsp
Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
Garam masala powder - 1 tsp
Fenugreek(Uluva) powder - A pinch
Fresh milk cream - 4 tsp
Oil - 2 tsp
Water - 1/2 cup
Tomato puree - 1/2 cup
Coriander leaves - For garnishing
Salt - As reqd




Preparation Method of Creamy Cashew Curry Recipe
1)Soak the cashew nuts in water for 15 mins. 2)Boil it for 5 - 8 mins. 3)Drain off the water and keep it aside. 4)Microwave the chopped onions for 4 mins and grind half of it into a paste and keep it aside. 5)Heat oil in a pan or a kadai. 6)Fry the green chillies and remaining onions, until the onions turn brown. 7)Add ginger-garlic paste and the ground onion and saute for 4 mins. 8)Add tomato puree followed by all the powders and stir for 3 mins. 9)Add cashew nuts and water. 10)Cook it for 5 mins. 11)Add salt to taste. 12)Add cream to make a thick gravy. 13)Add the coriander leaves and mix well. :- Serve with chappathis.
