Ingredients for Cabbage Thoran Recipe

Cabbage(finely chopped) - 1 cup
Onion(finely chopped) - 1 cup
Green chillies - 6 nos
(cut into small pieces)
Grated coconut - � cup
Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
Coconut oil - As reqd
Mustard seeds - 1 tsp
Red chillies(Kollamulaku) - 1 - 2 nos
Curry leaves - A few





Preparation Method of Cabbage Thoran Recipe
1)Mix together the finely chopped cabbage, onions, chillies, grated coconut, turmeric powder and salt. 2)Heat oil in a pan or a kadai. Add mustard seeds and allow it to splutter. 3)Then add dry red chillies and curry leaves to it. 4)Now add the mixture into the kadai and allow to cook it on low flame.

Comments	you can also add a tsp of urad dal to the seasoning. My friend has another wonderful idea. That is to separate out the leaves wash it and then spread the leaves on a towel and leave overnite to remove any drop of retained water. Then chop it in a food processor the next day. This definetly tastes delicious as the cabbage is nice and dry and fluffy and not too sticky and mushy.

I dont understand why some people in this website crib so mch if the author forgets to mention salt.hey comon no one is nuts not to realise that we hv to add salt to this recipe so why create a hue out of it. comon guys chill and be happy that someone is atleast taking the pains to share their recipes with u. stop complaining and learn to be thankful.
