Ingredients for Chilly Baji Recipe

To make 4 bajjies:-
Chilly bajjies(large) - 4 nos
Gram flour(Kadalamavu) - 400 gm
Chilly powder - 50 gm
Salt - As reqd
Tamarind - To be filled inside the chillies
Asafoetida powder(Kayam) - As reqd
Water - As reqd
Oil for deep frying




Preparation Method of Chilly Baji Recipe
1)Mix gram flour, chilly powder, salt and asafoetida in water to prepare a smooth batter. 2)Make a small hole on the chilly to fill the tamarind. 3)Dip the chillies in the batter. 4)Fry them in the oil till they become golden brown.

Comments	Good to see that you are trying to teach however I felt that we should be more specific when we give directions to others. If you could give the measurement in tbsp then it will be easy to try. How to stuff tamarind alone inside the chilli?

Comments	This is good recipe. But Descriptioniption is not clear. Dont put the thamarind directly into the chillies. Soak the thamarind for 5-10 mints. Thamarind+ jeera(1tbs)+salt(a pinch), make it thick paste. Cut one side of chilles and then stuff this tamarind paste into them all. Then put one by one chilli dip in the above batter and deep fry in the oil(till golden color). Then it would be a great tasty.
