Ingredients for Italian Pasta Recipe

Pasta - 400 gm
Onion - 2 nos
Tomato - 4 nos
Green chillies - 3 nos
Ginger-garlic paste - 2 tsp
Tomato sauce - 5 tsp
Coriander leaves - A little
Lemon juice - 2 tsp
Olive oil - 100 gm
Cumin seeds(Jeerakam) - 1 tsp
Shredded cheese - 50 gm
Chilly powder - As reqd
Salt - As reqd




Preparation Method of Italian Pasta Recipe
To make the sauce:- 1)Heat some olive oil in a pan. 2)Add the jeera, green chillies and onions and fry them well. 3)Then add the tomatoes to it and continue frying. 4)Next, add the chilly powder, salt and the tomato sauce. 5)Finally,switch off the flame and add the lemon juice, coriander leaves and the shredded cheese. To make the pasta:- 1)Take a large vessel full of water and add the pasta to it. 2)Cook well for about 20 minutes. 3)Then fish the pasta out of the water and add it to the sauce. :- Do not drain the boiled pasta. Fishing out doesn`t make the pasta from getting sticky with one another. :- Olive oil and cheese brings a lot of flavour.

Comments	For a more authentic Italian taste, add herbs such as oregano, marjoram, thyme, rosemary, sage.... leave out the ginger. Ginger is used mainly in sweets in european and mediteranean cuisine. Garnish with parsely instead of coriander and black pepper instead of chilly powder.

Comments	For the sauce you can just saute onions and tomatoes in olive oil and blend together and pour over pasta..it will also be very tasty..finally u can boil 1 or 2 eggs and cut it into small pieces and mix with pasta..

Comments	hey sonali, Let me remind u that pasta is an italian dish....so to make it authentic you need to add parmesan cheese or mozzarella. Shredded cheddar cheese is purely american. Instead of adding fresh tomatoes, try adding sun dried tomatoes soaked it olive oil. This will give the dish, a very good texture and aroma.

Comments	I think boiling pasta for 20 mins is too much.Pasta should not boil for more than 8-10mins.First boil water with some salt in it and then add pasta to boiling water along with a few drops of oil.This will prevent the pasta from sticking.
