Ingredients for Tapioca Rolls Recipe
Tapioca(Kappa) - 1 lb
(cut into small cubes)
Green chillies - 3 nos
Onion(medium) - 1 no
Turmeric powder - 1 tsp
Mustard seeds - 1 tsp
Salt - As reqd
Bread crumbs - 2 cups
Corn flour - 3 tbsp
Oil for deep frying

Preparation Method of Tapioca Rolls Recipe
1)Boil the tapioca until it becomes tender.

2)Mash the tender tapiocas and keep aside.

3)Heat a little oil in a skillet.

4)Splutter the mustard seeds.

5)Add the onions and green chillies and saute until onion becomes tender.

6)Add turmeric powder and cook for a while.

7)Add the mashed tapioca and salt into the skillet and mix them altogether.

8)Remove from the flame and allow it to cool to a medium temperature.

9)Make cornflour batter by mixing corn flour with 3 - 5 tbsp of water.

10)Roll the mix into desired shape(circular,cylindrical.diamond) and dip in the cornflour batter and then in bread crumbs to get a nice and thick coating.

11)After all the mix is done, keep the rolls in a refrigerator for about half an hour.

12)Heat oil in a skillet and deep fry the rolls until golden brown.

:- Serve hot with ketchup or mint chutney.
