Ingredients for Spicy Onion Pakkoda Recipe
Gram flour(Kadala mavu) - 2 cups
Rice flour - 1 cup
Onion - 2 nos(chopped/sliced)
Green chillies - 3 nos(chopped)
Chilly powder - 1/2 tsp
Asafoetida(Kayam)- A pinch
Baking powder - 1 tsp
Salt - As reqd
Coriander leaves - 1/2 cup
Curry leaves - Few
Oil - As reqd
Water - As reqd

Preparation Method of Spicy Onion Pakkoda Recipe
1)For preparing spicy onion pakkoda, first mix gram flour, rice flour and required salt in a bowl.

2)Add baking powder, onion, green chillies, chilly powder, asafoetida, curry leaves and coriander leaves.

3)Add little water(Do not make it as a batter) mix in between and make a thick mixture.

4)Heat oil in kadai, when hot, add the mixture little(less than a lemon size) by hand or use a tsp to pour.

5)When it becomes dark brown in color, remove from flame and place it in a tissue paper to absorb the oil.

6)Spicy onion pakkoda is ready. Serve hot at tea time.
