Ripe chikkus(Sapota) - 6 nos(peeled, cored and mashed)
Khoya - 100g(crumbled)
Sugar - 1/2 cup
Ghee - 2 tbsp
Water - 1/8 cup
Almonds - A few(flaked)
Melon seeds - A few
Preparation Method of Chikku Halwa Recipe
1)For preparing chikku halwa, heat a vessel and dissolve the sugar in the water to prepare a thick syrup over low flame.
2)Add in milk, mashed chikkus, khoya and ghee stirring in intervals. Allow it to simmer till it becomes thick.
3)Pour into a greased plate and leave to cool.
4)Chikku halwa is ready. Serve sprinkled with almonds and melon seeds.
