Amarakka Masala Curry
Good Side Dish for Chappathi / Dosa / Poori
Amarakka (Broad Beans) : ½ K gm –
: 1 piece (if necessary cut into small pieces) –
Garlics : 2 pieces (if necessary cut into small pieces) –

Separate the seeds from the whole Amarakka as shown in the below picture.
Wash and then cook the seeds for about 10-15 minutes in the pressure cooker.
in a Kadai (Cheenachatti) and then put the
and Garlics pieces into it and stir it for 2-3 minutes.
When the colour of the
and Garlics turns into golden, put the
pieces into this mix.
Stir the mix for 3 – 5 minutes.
Then add the
into this mix and stir it further.
After 2-3 minutes put the cooked Amarakka seeds and
into this mix and allow to boil it for another 10-15 minutes.
After boiling the mix for about 15 minutes, put off the stove and the Avarakka seeds curry is ready.
This can be served with Poori / Dosa / Chappathi etc.
