Aval Kesari (poha Kesari)
Aval Kesari is another variety of Kesari which is so mouth-watering. It is a very easy sweet recipe, which you can make on janmashtami/Krishna jayanthi or also some other special occasions.

  • Aval – 1cup
  • Sugar 1cup
  • Ghee 5tblsp
  • Cashew – 10
  • Raisins 5
  • Cardamom powder – 1tsp
  • Food Color – 1pinch
  1. In pan add 1 tsp ghee and roast aval and allow to cool
  2. Grind aval coarsely like rava
  3. Now add ghee in pan and roast cashew and raisins
  4. Add boiling water 1:3 and add aval
  5. When its absorb water add sugar and color
  6. Cook till ghee comes out. now its ready to serve. Aval keasri
