Instructions
- For preparing badam payasam, soak almonds in a cup of water over night.
- Peel off the skin of almonds. Blend it with milk to make a fine paste.
- Cook the almond paste with 1 cup of sugar. Keep mixing till it cooks for 10 minutes on low flame.
- Add the remaining sugar and keep stirring the mixture.
- Pour in the remaining milk and allow it to boil for 15 minutes on low flame.
- Add the soaked saffron and mix well.
- Badam payasam is ready.
