Ingredients

Coal –
Oil

Cloves

Ghee

Instructions
Roast the
brinjal
on a medium flame till well cooked. When the skin has charred completely, peel and mash well.
Heat the
oil
in a pan.
Add
onion
and saute till it turns light brown.
Add minced
garlic
,
ginger
,
green chillies
and saute well.
Add chopped tomatoes and saute well.
Add mashed
brinjal
and saute for 2 – 3 minutes.
Remove into an airtight container and keep the burning coal on the top of the
brinjal
.
Keep the
cloves
on top of the burning coal and put
ghee
on the top of the coal and
cloves
.
Close the container tightly and don’t allow the smoke to go outside of the container.
After 5 minutes open the container. Remove the
cloves
and coal. Mix well.
:- Serve with chapati or rice.
