Banana Walnut Cake
Soft and tasty walnut cake made with lots of butter

Ingredients
  • Butter : 125 gm –
  • Sugar : ¾ cup –
  • Walnuts : ½ cup –
  • Self raising flour : 1 ¾ cup –
  • Egg beaten : 2 nos –
  • Large bananas : 3 nos –
  • Bicarbonate of soda : 1 tsp –
  • Milk : 2 – 3tsp
  • Boiling water : 1 tsp –
Instructions
  1. Cream butter, sugar and water together.

  3. Gradually add eggs, then the mashed bananas.

  6. Dissolve bicarbonate of soda in milk and add flour alternately with milk to banana mixture.

  10. Add chopped walnuts.
  11. Enter Step
  12. Bake at 175° C for 50 – 55 minutes or till the knife / toothpick comes put clean.

  14. Note : After 20 minutes you can place an aluminum foil on top of the cake to prevent the top from burning.
