Beetroot cutlet or beetroot tikki, beetroot patties is easy, delicious, healthy and colorful snack for tea time or for kids lunch/snack box. We can also serve this as starter or finger food during party or get-together.

Ingredients
  • Beetroot 1/2 kg –
  • aloo 1/4 kg –
  • roasted ground nut 5 tsp –
  • Chopped Onion : 1 no –
  • chopped green chili 2 no. –
  • Ginger garlic paste : 1 tsp –
  • red chili powder 1/2 tsp –
  • Garam masala : 1/2 tsp –
  • coriander leaves 5 tsp –
  • cumin seed powder 2 pinch –
  • Salt to taste –
  • Bread crumbs : 1 cup –
  • maida 2 tbsp –
  • corn flour 3 tbsp –
  • Oil to fry –
Instructions
  1. boil the aloo by adding salt and smash it
  2. peel the beetroot and grate it
  3. filter the water from beetroot
  4. in a bowl add aloo, beetroot, chopped onion, chopped green chili, roasted groundnut, coriander leaves,cumin seed powder, ginger garlic paste, red chili powder, garam masala and salt
  5. mix well
  6. prepare bread crumbs
  7. in a bowl add maida, corn flour and water and make as a batter
  8. take a small ball from beetroot mix and make as a round shape and dip in batter
  9. spread the bread crumbs
  10. heat the oil and fry it until it get crispy
  11. now beetroot patties is ready to serve
