Ingredients for Biryani –
Chicken(cleaned and cut into small pieces) –
Onion

Coriander leaves(A bunch) –

Cashew nuts(As reqd) –

Instructions
Preparation Method for Biryani 1)Soak basmati rice for 20 mins.
Grind together
garlic
,
ginger
and
poppy seeds
into a fine paste.
Grind together
mint leaves
, coriander leaves and
curry leaves
into a fine paste.
Take a vessel and place the chicken in it.
Add
salt
, the above pastes, curd, lime juice and
garam masala
.
Mix it well and marinate it for 1 hr.
Grind cashews into a fine paste.
Cut onions in rings and fry them, until they are golden brown.
Place the above fried onions in a separate bowl.
Cook basmati rice by adding
water
to it separately in a vessel.
:- Keep in mind that rice must be cooked 3/4th only.
Heat
oil
in the same pan used for frying onions.
Add some fried onions, cashews paste and the marinated chicken.
Cook, until it is done.
Take a big vessel and place one layer of rice followed by chicken and onions.
Sprinkle the
saffron
milk
.
Continue this, until it is done.
Place the vessel on stove and cook for 10 mins on a low flame.
:- Biryani is ready.
