- Boneless Chicken(cubed) - 1/2 kg
- Coriander powder - 1 tsp
- Chilly powder - 1 tsp
- Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
- Pepper powder - 1/4 tsp
- garlic(paste) - 3 cloves
- Ginger(paste) - 1 inch
- Cinnamon(powder, Karugapatta) - 1 small
- Cloves(powdered, Grambu) - 2 nos
- Cardamom(powdered, Elakka) - 1 no
- Vinegar - 1 tbsp
- Coconut(grated) - 1 cup
- Cumin seeds(Jeerakam) - 1/2 tsp
- Mustard seeds - 1 tsp
- Onions(chopped) - 1/2 cup
- Green chillies(chopped) - 2 tsp
- Curry leaves - 1 sprig
- Coconut oil(As reqd) -

Instructions
- For preparing boneless chicken fougath, make a paste out of coriander powder, chilly powder, turmeric powder, pepper powder, garlic paste, ginger paste, cinnamon powder, vinegar, salt, cloves powder and cardamom powder.
- In a vessel cook the chicken with the above paste till it becomes tender. Remove it from the flame.
- Shred the chicken and keep it aside.
- Heat coconut oil in a vessel and splutter the mustard seeds.
- Then add in the shredded chicken with cumin seeds, grated coconut, curry leaves, green chillies and onions.
- Mix it well till all the water has absorbed completely.
- Boneless chicken fougath is ready. Serve hot with rice as a side dish.
