Cabbage mexhukkupuratti to complement non-veg gravy

  • Cabbage(chopped into chunks, coarse not finely chopped) – 250gm
  • garlic 8pcs
  • Gignger(minced) – 1/4tbsp
  • Green chillies(sliced) – 2nos
  • Onion(finely chopped) – 3tbsp
  • Black Pepper Powder 1/4tbsp
  • Vegetable oil 3tbsp
  • Water 60ml
  • White wine – 45ml
  1. Heat veg oil in a flat pan, stir fry ginger and garlic for 30 seconds.
  2. Add onion, green chillies and stir fry for another 30 seconds.
  3. Add coarsely chopped cabbage and stir fry for 30 seconds.
  4. Add 60 ml water, cover the pan and cook for 2 minutes.
  5. Remove the lid, stir the entire stuff and add 45ml of white wine.
  6. Sprinkle pepper powder and keep on stirring till the entire mix is almost dry.
