  • Chicken(cleaned and chopped) – 1/2kg
  • Cottage cheese cubes(Paneer) – 1/2kg
  • Coriander leaves(washed) – 3bunches
  • Onion(chopped) – 3nos
  • Ginger(garlic paste – 1 tbsp) –
  • Green chillies(chopped) – 5nos
  • Tomatoes(chopped) – 2nos
  • Turmeric powder 1/4tsp
  • Chilly powder – 1/2tsp
  • Fenugreek powder(Uluva) – 2pinch
  • Cumin powder(roasted) – 1/2tsp
  • Garam masala 1/2tsp
  • Oil(As reqd) –
  • Salt(As reqd) –
  1. For preparing chicken coriander paneer, blend the coriander leaves to a fine paste with a little water. Keep it aside.
  2. Heat oil in a vessel and fry the paneer cubes until light brown.
  3. Drain the fried paneer cubes and keep it aside.
  4. In the same oil, saute onions and green chillies along with salt.
  5. When the onion becomes transparent, add ginger-garlic paste and fry for 1 minute.
  6. Add turmeric powder, chilly powder, fenugreek powder, cumin powder and garam masala.
  7. Fry for 1 minute and pour in the coriander paste and add in the tomatoes.
  8. Add little water and allow it to simmer on low flame.
  9. Toss in the fried paneer cubes and the chicken pieces. Allow it to simmer on low flame till the gravy thickens and the chicken pieces are done.
  10. Chicken coriander paneer is ready. Serve hot with chappathi or plain rice.
