- Chicken breast fillets(chopped) - 675 g
- Onion(finely chopped) - 1 no
- Tomatoes(chopped) - 400 g
- Capsicum(finely chopped, green) - 1 no
- Capsicum(finely chopped, red) - 1 no
- garlic(crushed) - 2 cloves
- Ginger(paste) - 1/2 inch
- Cumin seeds(Jeerakam) - 1 tsp
- Curry paste - 1 tbsp
- Chilly powder - 1/4 tsp
- Coriander powder - 1 tsp
- Cumin seeds(powdered) - 1 tsp
- Coriander leaves(finely chopped) - 2 springs
- Oil - 2 tbsp
- Salt(As reqd) -

Instructions
- For preparing chicken jhalfrezi, heat the oil in a large pan and fry the cumin seeds until they they splutter.
- Then add the curry paste and sautT for 2 minutes.
- Stir in the chilly powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, salt and 1 tbsp of water. Mix well.
- Toss in the chicken and stir-fry for 5 minutes.
- Then add the tomatoes and coriander leaves. Cook covered until the chicken is tender.
- Garnish with a spring of fresh coriander.
- Chicken jhalfrezi is ready. Serve hot with rice or naan.
