Instructions
For preparing chicken jhalfrezi, heat the
oil
in a large pan and fry the
cumin seeds
until they they splutter.
Add the
onion
, capsicums(red and green),
garlic
and
ginger
. Fry for 8 minutes on low flame.
Then add the curry paste and sautT for 2 minutes.
Stir in the chilly powder,
coriander powder
,
cumin powder
,
salt
and 1 tbsp of
water
. Mix well.
Toss in the chicken and stir-fry for 5 minutes.
Then add the tomatoes and coriander leaves. Cook covered until the chicken is tender.
Garnish with a spring of fresh coriander.
Chicken jhalfrezi is ready. Serve hot with rice or naan.
