Chocolate Walnut Brownie
I love brownies and this recipe is simple and easy to prepare and fool proof. You need not spend a fortune to savor brownies now. The walnuts in it make them even tastier. The additional topping of grated chocolates make them yummy and they literally melt in your mouth. You can serve them with vanilla ice-cream and you are sure to win your beloved’s heart

  • Maida – 3/4cup
  • Sugar 1 1/4cup
  • Butter – 100gms
  • Eggs – 3nos
  • Cocoa Powder – 6tbsp
  • Chopped Walnuts – 1/2cup
  • Baking powder 1Tsp
  • Vanilla Essence – 1Tsp
  1. Sieve flour(Maida) with baking powder
  2. Melt butter in a microwave or over the gas stove
  3. Add the cocoa powder to the melted butter and mix well. Allow to cool.
  4. Powder the sugar
  5. Whisk eggs well with an electric beater
  6. Add sugar to the egg mixture and whisk further; add vanilla essence to it.
  7. Mix the butter cocoa mixture to the egg mixture
  8. Fold in the flour to the above mixture and mix well with a spoon.
  9. Mix 1Tbsp flour to the walnuts and fold into the cake mixture
  10. Fold in the walnuts to the cake batter
  11. Grease the cake tin with little butter and dust it with flour.
  12. Pour the prepared cake batter into the prepared cake tin. Bake at 175 deg centigrade for about 45 minutes.
  13. While the cake is warm , sprinkle grated chocolate all over the cake. While serving you can warm up the brownie a bit and pour vanilla ice cream over it.
