  1. For preparing coconut cottage cheese(paneer) curry, heat coconut oil in a pan. Splutter mustard seeds and fennel seeds.
  2. Add in onions and sautT till it becomes brown in colour.
  3. Now add in ginger-garlic paste and sautT well for 2 minutes on low flame.
  4. Now add in chilly powder, salt, turmeric powder, red food colouring and green chilies.
  5. Toss in the tomatoes, curry leaves, bay leaf and pour a little water. Mix well and allow the tomatoes to cook on low flame till it becomes mushy.
  6. Then add in the paneer, soya sauce and a little water if required. Allow the paneer to cook on low flame.
  7. When the paneer is nearly done, pour in the coconut milk and allow it to simmer for 5 minutes.
  8. Garnish with coriander leaves and remove it from the flame.
  9. Coconut cottage cheese(paneer) curry is ready. Serve hot with naan, kulcha, etc.
