  • For preparing coconut duck in mud pot, fry the coconut in a vessel until it becomes brown and keep it aside.
  • In the same vessel heat oil. Saute onions, ginger-garlic paste, green chillies and chicken cubes for 5 minutes on low flame.
  • Add in the duck pieces, tomatoes, pepper powder, turmeric powder, garam masala and lime juice. Fry it for 5 minutes on low flame.
  • Put the duck pieces and the sauted masala into a mud pot. Pour a little water and allow it to cook.
  • Pour in the coconut milk, curry leaves, salt and tamarind juice. Allow it to simmer for 10 minutes.
  • Garnish with coriander leaves and remove it from the oven.
  • Coconut duck in mud pot is ready. Serve hot with rice.
