Duck with coconut is cooked in a mud pot

Ingredients
- Duck(chopped) - 1 kg
- Coconut(grated) - 1/2 cup
- Onions(finely chopped) - 2 nos
- Tomatoes - 2 nos
- Ginger(garlic paste - 1 tbsp) -
- Lemon juice - 4 tbsp
- Green chillies - 3 nos
- Coconut milk - 400 g
- Garam masala - 1/2 tsp
- Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
- Pepper powder - 1/2 tsp
- Maggi chicken soup cube - 1 no
- Tamarind juice - 1/2 cup
- Curry leaves - 2 springs
- Coriander leaves(chopped) - 4 springs
- Coconut oil(As reqd) -
- Salt(As reqd) -

Instructions
- In the same vessel heat oil. Saute onions, ginger-garlic paste, green chillies and chicken cubes for 5 minutes on low flame.
- Add in the duck pieces, tomatoes, pepper powder, turmeric powder, garam masala and lime juice. Fry it for 5 minutes on low flame.
- Put the duck pieces and the sauted masala into a mud pot. Pour a little water and allow it to cook.
- Pour in the coconut milk, curry leaves, salt and tamarind juice. Allow it to simmer for 10 minutes.
- Garnish with coriander leaves and remove it from the oven.
- Coconut duck in mud pot is ready. Serve hot with rice.
