Coconut Rice Balls – For Kids
Rice flour, butter, other ingredients added to boiled water to make a smooth dough

  1. First bring to boil around 1/4 cup of water. Remove water from fire.
  2. Stir in rice flour, butter, cardamom powder, sugar, coconut and required salt. Knead well into a soft dough adding extra boiled water if needed.
  3. Heat oil in a pan, splutter mustard seeds and red chillies.
  4. Pour it on the rice flour, Make small balls out of the dough and keep aside.
  5. Place it in idly cooker, and cook for 10 minutes.
  6. A tasty snack for kids and elders.
