- Tiger prawns(de-veined and cleaned) - 10 nos
- Coconut(grated) - 2 tbsp
- All purpose flour(Maida) - 1/2 cup
- Chilly powder - 1/2 tsp
- Turmeric powder(A pinch) -
- Baking powder - 1/2 tsp
- Salt(As reqd) -
For the marinade:
- Chilly powder - 1/2 tsp
- Turmeric powder(A pinch) -
- Ginger(garlic paste - 1 tsp) -
- Lemon juice - 1 tbsp
- Salt(As reqd) -

Instructions
- In another bowl mix maida, chilly powder, grated coconut, turmeric powder, baking powder and salt with required water to make a thick batter. Keep it aside.
- Heat coconut oil in a deep frying pan.
- Dip each marinated prawn in the batter and deep fry it in oil on low flame.
