Dal –

Water
(As reqd) –
Oil

Green chillies

Curry leaves
(A few) –
Turmeric powder

Mustard seeds

Instructions
Wash dal well.
Put it in a vessel. Add into it the chopped
onion
,
tomato
,
green chillies
,
ginger
,
garlic
and
salt
.
Pour enough
water
and allow it to cook.
When the gravy thickens, add the
curry leaves
.
Splutter
mustard seeds
in a little
oil
and add it to the dal.
