Dal Spinach / Paruppu Keerai

  1. chop the onion, tomato, red chilli and green chilli
  2. clean the spinach and wash it
  3. boil the thoor dal by adding turmeric powder, salt, garlic, gingerly oil
  4. once thoor dal get 3/4 th boiled add spinach and allow to boil for 15 mins until the thoor dal get boiled
  5. in a pan heat the oil and temper the mustard, broken bangal gram, cumin seed.w
  6. add also temper the curry leaves, red chilli and green chilli and asafoetida
  7. add onion and saute it until it get brown
  8. add tomato and fry for 5 min
  9. now required salt and mix well and allow to fry for 10 mins
  10. then put the onion masala into the dal spinach and mix well and allow to boil for 5 mins
  11. now take the dal spinach smash it as displayed
  12. now paruppu keerai / dal spinach is ready to serve. serve with rice
