Donne Chicken Biriyani
Donne Chicken Biriyani is very famous in Bangalore at Karnataka. This Donne biriyani is very familiar in all Military Hotel in bangalore road side. This biriyani is served with donne with we regulary get our prasadam in temples. For a change hotel vendors are served this biriyani with Donne to feel more tasty while we having this biriyani. Because this donne gives dry green flavor and enhance with our biriyani. In this biriyani we add green more like mint and coriander leaves and green chilli so it give more fresh green flavor. This biriyani we grind all these greens along with onion and saute well make a paste. so its does not makes the biriyani raw smell of this green. Mainly we adding this Seeraga Sambha Rice. This main highlight of this biriyani. With all these ingredients we cook chicken and its more juicy and soft.   • Seeraga Samba Rice – 1/2kg
  • Chicken – 1/2kg
  • Onion(peeled ) – 4number
  • Tomato 1number
  • Green chili – 7number
  • Coriander leaves – 1hand
  • Mint leaves 1hand
  • Curd – 1/2cup
  • Cloves 4number
  • Cinnamon – 2numbere
  • Cardamom 4number
  • Bay leaves – 2number
  • Star anise 1number
  • Marati Moggu – 1nymber
  • Oil 3tbsp
  • Ghee 2tbsp
  • Salt(as per taste) – 1 tsp
  • Donne(to serve) – 2number
  • Jeera – 1/2tsp
  • Funnel seed – 1/2tsp
  • Pepper – 1/4tsp
  • Fresh Ginger Garlic Paste – 2tsp
  • termeric – 1/4tsp
  1. Slice the onion and green chilli and keep aside
  2. In pan add 1/2 tsp oil and add green chilli and onion saute well
  3. Now add both mint and coriander leaves saute well and allow to cool
  4. In cooker or heavy weight pan add oil and temper all whole spices
  5. Now add ginger garlic paste and saute well
  6. Now add tomato and turmeric powder mix well
  7. Now add chicken and salt as required mix well cook for five mins till raw smell goes
  8. Now add curd and cook for 2 mins till oil comes out
  9. In mean time grind the green ingredients and make fine paste
  10. Now add with that masala cook for 5 mins
  11. Now add water and bring to boil and add soaked rice of seeraga sambha
  12. Now cook till water drain in 3/4th and close lid and cook for 10 mins in low flame
  13. Now its almost ready add ghee and mix gently
  14. Now take the donne and keep in plate to serve
  15. Now its ready to serve hot Donne Chicken Biriyani
