Double Beans Chow Chow Curry

  • Double beans – 1cup
  • Chow chow – 1/2cup
  • Shallots – 15nos
  • garlic 6
  • Curry leaves(little) –
  • Sambhar powder / Kuzhambu milaga podi – 2tsp
  • Salt(as taste) –
  • Turmeric 1/4tsp
  • Cumin, Fenugreek , Mustard – 1tsp
  • Oil 2tblsp
  • Tamarind water 1/4cup
  • Coconut paste – 1/4cup
  1. Soak over night and boil Double beans and keep aside
  2. Chop shallots, chow chow and garlic
  3. In pan add oil and temper Mustard and cumin and fenugreek
  4. Saute Onions and curry leave leaves , chow chow and cook for 5 10 mins with little water
  5. Now add all powder and cook for 5 mins
  6. Now add tamarind water and double beans and cook for 5 mins
  7. Now add Coconut paste and cook for 5 mins and turn off
  8. Now its ready to serve Double Beans Chow chow curry
