Dry Fish Stir Fry With Coconut(Meen)
Dry fish is shredded and stir fried with onion, garlic and other ingredients

  1. First soak the fish in water and remove the bones. Drain and shred it.
  2. Heat oil in a pan and saute ginger, garlic and chopped onion.
  3. Add chilly powder. Fry for few seconds and add shreded fish. Mix and fry well.
  4. Mix the coconut with turmeric powder sprinkling some water and add to the fish mixture. Lower the flame and cover the pan. Let the fish to cook well in the juice of coconut. Add curry leaves.
  5. Add 1 tsp of oil and combine well.
  6. Dry fish stir fry is ready to serve.
