Ingredients
- Beetroot(finely chopped) - 1 cup
- Green chillies(slit) - 4 nos
- Split Bengal gram(Uzhunnu parippu) - 1/2 tsp
- Peanuts(roasted) - 1 tsp
- Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp
- Garam masala - 1/2 tsp
- Pepper powder - 1/2 tsp
- Asafoetida(A pinch, kaayam) -
- Coconut(grated) - 1/2 cup
- Curry leaves - 2 springs
- Coconut oil(As reqd) -
- Salt(As reqd) -

Instructions
- Heat some coconut oil in a vessel and splutter mustard seeds.
- Toss in peanuts and split bengal gram. 4)Add asafoetida, salt, green chilles, garam masala, pepper powder, beetroot and curry leaves along with a little water.
- Allow it to simmer for 1 minute on low flame. Remove it from the flame.
- Easy beetroot curry is ready.
