Instructions
- For preparing easy butter biscuits, grease a baking tray with butter.
- Dust a little maida evenly coating the baking tray.(this avoids the biscuits from sticking to the bottom).
- Slowly add the beaten eggs into the sugar and butter mixture.(do not add altogether. It will curdle)
- Slowly add the flour mixture to the butter mixture.
- Mix well to make a dough.
- Divide it into two equal pieces. Put the two pieces of dough into two different plastic bags.
- Keep it in the fridge for 30 minutes.(refrigerating the dough will allow to roll the dough easily)
- Meanwhile heat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
- Remove the chilled dough from the fridge.
- Roll the dough with a chapatti rolling pin. Sprinkle maida on the surface and roll until it is half a centimetre thick.
- Take a pastry cutter and cut out any design.
- Remove the biscuits slowly and place it on the baking tray.
- Put the baking tray into the oven. Allow it to cook until it becomes golden brown. 16)Remove the tray out of the oven once it is golden brown. Allow it to cool.
- Then remove it from the tray and place the biscuits on a wire rack to become nice and crispy.
- Easy butter biscuits are ready. Pour chocolate syrup or powdered sugar on top of it and serve.
