Easy Chilli Gobi
Easy chilli gobi is a tasty, crispy and lip-smacking dish preferred by both vegetarians as well as non-vegetarians. Easy chilli gobi snack as the title suggests, requires only a few minutes for the preparation. We have introduced a very simple and well illustrated recipe keeping new comers in mind. Cleaned cauliflower florets are dipped in gram flour mixture until well coated and deep fried to a golden brown color. The fried cauliflower florets are gently tossed in chilli sauce before serving.   • Cauliflower(separated into small florets) – 1nos
  • Onions(sliced thin and long) – 3nos
  • Green chillies(cut into two lengthwise) – 3nos
  • Chilli sauce –
  • Gram flour(As reqd, Kadala podi) –
  • Chilly powder(As reqd) –
  • Asafoetida(A pinch, Kayam) –
  • Salt(As reqd) –
  • Vegetable oil(for frying) –
  1. Mix together gram flour, little chilly powder, salt, a pinch of asafoetida and make a thick batter.
  2. Dip the florets into it and deep fry in oil. Keep the aside.
  3. Heat a little oil in a frying pan.
  4. Add onions and green chillies and saute, till the onions turn into light golden brown.
  5. Add chilli sauce and saute for 2 mins.
  6. Add the fried florets and mix well. The cauliflower florets should be well covered in chilli sauce. Its the chilli sauce that binds the fried florets well and grants it an exotic finish.
  7. :- Chilli Gobi is ready.
