Ingredients
Any fish fillet(cleaned) –
6
pieces
Mustard seeds
–

Chilly powder –
2 1/2
tsp
Coconut
milk
–
1/2
cup
Turmeric powder
–

tsp
Garam masala
powder(A pinch) –
Lemon juice –
2
tbsp
Coriander leaves(finely chopped) –
5
springs
Mustard oil
(As reqd) –
Salt
(As reqd) –
Instructions
For preparing easy fish chilly gravy, grind
mustard seeds
with a little
water
.
Marinate the fish fillet with 1 tsp chilly powder, 1/2 tsp
turmeric powder
and
salt
. Keep it aside for 3o minutes.
Fry the fish fillet in hot
mustard oil
. Keep it aside.
In the same
oil
fry the mustard paste with a little more
mustard oil
.
In a bowl mix in the remaining chilly powder,
turmeric powder
and a little
water
.
Add this into the mustard paste and allow it to simmer for some time.
Then add in the fried fish fillets,
coconut
milk
and lemon juice. Allow it to simmer for 1 minute.
Garnish with coriander leaves. Remove it from the flame.
Easy fish chilly gravy is ready. Serve hot.
