Ingredients
- All purpose flour(sifted, Maida) - 1 1/2 cups
- Strawberries(finely chopped) - 1/2 cup
- Eggs - 3 nos
- Red colour - 1/2 tsp
- Butter - 227 g
- Sugar - 200 g
- Baking powder(sifted) - 1 tsp
- Strawberry essence - 1 tsp
- Lemon juice - 1/2 tsp
- Salt(A pinch) -

Instructions
- For preparing easy strawberry cake, preheat the oven to 175 degrees celcius.
- Add red colour and eggs. Beat it well till smooth.
- Then add strawberry essence, maida and baking powder to the above butter mixture. Mix it well.
- Toss in the chopped strawberries, salt and lime juice. Mix it well and keep it aside.
- Grease a cake tin and pour the cake batter into it. Bake it till done.
- Allow the cake to cool completely, then remove it from the tin.
- Easy strawberry cake is ready.
