Easy Urulakkizhangu Poriyal
It is good for chapathi and rice as side dish.It is very easy toprepare and tasty too.My husband likes a lot this recipe.This is good with rasam,sambhar andcurd rice. rice

  • Potato 1cup
  • 0il – 2tsp
  • Saunf – 1tsp
  • Asafoetida – 1tsp
  • garlic 8pods
  • Salt(to taste) –
  • Curry leaf – 10
  • Cumin seeds 1tsp
  • Water 1/2cup
  • Chili powder – 1tsp
  1. Heat oil in a kadayi add garlic pods,curry leaves,cumin seeds and saunf saute for a minute.
  2. Add chopped and cleaned potatoes to this and saute for 2 minutes.
  3. Add turmeric powder, ginger garlic paste to this and saute for a minute.
  4. Add chili powder,water and salt. saute for a minute.
  5. Close kadai with a lid and cook for 5 minutes.
  6. When water completely dries up, switch off stove.
  7. Easy urulakizhangu poriyal is ready to serve
