Spicy onions garnished on hard boiled eggs

  • Eggs – 4nos
  • Oil 4tbsp
  • Onion(medium) – 2nos
  • Red chilly powder – 1tsp
  • Black Pepper Powder 1/4tsp
  • Vinegar – 1tbsp
  • Salt(As reqd) –
  1. Boil the eggs in water for about half an hour. 2)Heat oil in a deep bottomed pan. 3)Saute the onions until golden brown. 4)Add chilly powder, black pepper powder and salt and saute for another 3 – 4 mins. 5)Add vinegar and saute for another min. 6)Make some slits on the hard boiled eggs and place them on the sauted onions. 7)Remove from fire. 8)Cover the eggs with the onions. :- Serve hot with chappathi, palappam, uppumav or idiappam.
