  • Boneless beef(minced and cooked) – 100g
  • Basmati rice(washed and drained) – 2cups
  • Beef stock – 4cups
  • Mushroom(chopped) – 2cups
  • *Worcestershire Sauce – 2tbsp
  • Soy sauce – 2tbsp
  • Onions(chopped) – 2nos
  • Butter – 2tbsp
  • Almond flakes(roasted) – 2tbsp
  • Pepper powder(As reqd) –
  • Salt(As reqd) –
  1. For preparing Egyptian beef rice heat butter in a pan and sautT in the onions till they become brown.
  2. Add in the cooked beef, basmati rice, beef stock, mushrooms, Worcestershire sauce, soya sauce, pepper powder and salt.
  3. Cover and allow it to simmer till the rice is done. Remove it from the flame.
  4. Garnish with roasted flaked almonds.
  5. Egyptian beef rice is ready. Serve hot.
