This curry famous in south India, brinjal make nice tastethis gravy. Ennai kathirikkai is quite different gravy. This curry makes to eat more because , the aroma is very nice to smell

To Roast and Grind:
  • Sesame seed – 1tsp
  • Peanuts – 1tbsp
  • Coriander seed – 2tbsp
  • Dry coconut 3tbsp
  • Small onions – 15nos
  • Green chili – 1nos
  • Ginger 1inch
  • garlic 3nos
  • Cloves 2nos
  • Cinnamon sticks – 1″
  • Fennel seeds 1/2tsp
  • Cardamom 1nos
  1. Roast sesame in dry pan
  2. Add peanuts and coriander seed in that pan , roast well the aroma comes
  3. Add dry coconut and roast well and put off the flame
  4. Now add garlic,ginger,chili, cloves, cinnamon, cardamom, fennel seed grind the powder
  5. Add onions in that powder and make paste
  6. Add chili and turmeric powder , salt.
  7. Cut the brinjal four slit into down
  8. Add the paste into the brinjal, you can see my pictuer for reference.
  9. In other pan , puts some more oil add the brinjal and arrange like this
  10. close with lead and make sure that turns brinjal side by side in pan
  11. pour turmeric water and add salt as needed.
  12. Now yummy Ennai Kathirikkai is ready to serve.
