Ingredients
Pumpkin(Mathanga)(cut into pieces, ripe) –

cups
Red oriental beans –
1/2
cup
Oil
–

tbsp
Coconut
milk
–

tbsp
Dry
red chillies
(Kollamulaku) –
2
nos
Mustard seeds
–

tsp
Curry leaves
–

sprigs
Salt
(As reqd) –
For grinding:-
Grated
Coconut
–

Small onions(Kunjulli) –

Garlic

(Jeerakam) –

Instructions
Cook pumpkin along with enough
water
and
salt
.
Cook red oriental beans separately and mix it along with the pumpkin.
Grind the ingredients to be ground into a coarse form.
Add the ground mixture into the cooked mixture.
Cook for sometime and keep aside.
Heat
oil
in a pan.
Splutter
mustard seeds
followed by
red chillies
and
curry leaves
.
Add thick
coconut
milk
and mix well.
Pour the above into the cooked pumpkin curry and mix well.
