Fish Finger Fry(Meen)
Fish pieces marinated in a mixture of ginger paste, lime juice, other ingredients and deep fried after coating with bread crumbs

  • Fish(washed and drained, sliced into long thin pieces) – 500g
  • garlic(minced) – 1tbsp
  • Vinegar – 1/2tbsp
  • Lime juice(Half a lemon) –
  • Egg(beaten) – 1no
  • Pepper powder 1/2tbsp
  • Bread crumbs 1/2cup
  • Oil(For frying) –
  • Salt(As reqd) –
  1. For preparing fish finger fry, first coat the fish pieces with minced garlic and required salt. Keep this aside for 10 minutes.
  2. Next, dip these fish pieces in a mixture of vinegar and lime juice. Marinate the fish pieces for 2 hours.
  3. Mix the pepper powder in the beaten egg.
  4. Dip the marinated fish pieces in the egg mixture and roll in bread crumbs.
  5. Heat oil in a frying pan and deep fry the fish fingers to a golden brown color.
  6. Fish finger fry, a tasty mouth watering recipe, is ready. Serve hot and enjoy.
