Minced mutton/meat combined with sauce and other ingredients to prepare meat loaf.

  • Mutton/Beef(minced) – 500g
  • Pork(minced) – 100g
  • All purpose flour(Maida) – 1tbsp
  • Nutmeg powder(Jathikka) – 1/2tsp
  • Mustard powder – 1/2tsp
  • Pepper powder 1/2tsp
  • Bread slices(soaked in water and pressed dry) – 3nos
  • *Worcestershire Sauce – 1/2tbsp
  • Tomato sauce – 1/2tbsp
  • Butter(As reqd) –
  • Salt(As reqd) –
  1. For preparing frozen meat loaf, first mix together minced meat and pork.
  2. Add flour, nutmeg powder, mustard powder, pepper, crushed bread, worcestershire sauce, tomato sauce and required salt. Mix well.
  3. Grease a tin and press the meat mixture into the vessel. Coat the top surface with butter. Cover the tin tightly with a foil paper.
  4. Cook the meat mixture in a pressure cooker for 45 minutes. Allow the meat mixture to cool.
  5. Meat loaf is ready and store in a refrigerator.
