Green gram with other ingredients - Green Gram Curry

Ingredients
- Green gram(soaked overnight) - 2 cups
- Coconut(grated) - 1 cup
- Onions(finely chopped) - 3 nos
- Tomatoes(finely chopped) - 2 nos
- Ginger(garlic paste - 1 tbsp) -
- Chilly powder - 3 tsp
- Garam masala - 1/2 tsp
- Coriander powder - 1 tsp
- Cumin powder - 1/2 tsp
- Coriander leaves(finely chopped) - 3 springs
- Curry leaves - 2 springs
- Oil(As reqd) -
- Salt(As reqd) -

Instructions
- Toss in the tomatoes and saute till the oil separates.
- Add chilly powder, curry leaves, garam masala, coriander, cumin powder and salt. Fry it for sometime.
- Then add green gram and enough water. Allow it to cook.
- Meanwhile grind the coconut to make a fine paste. Pour it into the cooked green gram and allow it to simmer for sometime.
- Garnish with chopped coriander leaves.
- Green-gram coconut curry is ready. Serve with chapatti, bread, etc.
