Instructions
  1. For preparing green peas in yogurt, cook the green peas in salt water. Drain it and keep it aside.
  2. Heat the oil in a vessel.
  3. Add in the onion seeds, green chilies and onion. Saute till the onion becomes golden brown in colour.
  4. Then add in turmeric powder, grated coconut and salt. Saute for 1 minute on low flame.
  5. Add the green peas into the pan. Stir fry gently for 5 minutes, until the green peas become lightly golden brown.
  6. Pour in the yogurt, tomatoes and fresh coriander. Allow it to cook for 2 minutes and remove it from the flame.
  7. Green peas in yogurt is ready. Serve as a side dish with rice.
