A colourful combination of potatoes and spinach(paalak)

  1. Boil the potatoes and peel off the skin.
  2. Par boil the spinach, mash them and keep it aside.
  3. Heat oil in a pan.
  4. Fry the potatoes and keep aside.
  5. To the remaining oil, add grated ginger, whole black pepper and slit green chillies.
  6. Add the mashed spinach and cook for a while.
  7. Add the potatoes along with salt and cook again.
  8. When done, pour the ghee and remove.
  9. :- Serve hot with chappathis.
