Ingredients
  • Idli 6 no. –
  • Ginger garlic paste : 1 tsp –
  • Red chili powder : 1 tsp –
  • Salt to taste –
  • Color powder 1 pinch –
  • Corn flour : 1 tsp –
  • maida 1/2 tsp –
  • Rice flour : 1 tsp –
  • Tomato sauce : 3 tsp –
  • Oil to fry –
  • Onion : 1 no –
  • Tomato : 1 no –
  • Green chili 1 no. –
  • Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp –
Instructions
  1. Cut the idli into small cubes
  2. in a bowl add idli, salt, red chili powder, color powder, ginger garlic paste, corn flour, maida and rice flour
  3. mix well and marinate for 5 minutes
  4. heat the oil in the pan and fry the idli
  5. remove the idly from the oil and keep aside
  6. chop the onion, tomato and green chili
  7. in a pan heat the oil and add onion, green chilies and saute it for 5 minutes until the onion turn into golden brown
  8. add chopped tomato and mix well
  9. add red chili powder, salt and turmeric powder and mix well
  10. add tomato sauce and mix well
  11. add fried idly, mix well and allow to cook in a medium flame for 5 minutes
  12. idly chili fry is ready
