  1. For preparing jeeraka kanji, grind 11 small onions, grated coconut and turmeric powder well using a mixer grinder.
  2. Then boil water, add coriander powder, turmeric powder and fenugreek it. Cook well(water¦s measure is taken according to the rice)
  3. Put the washed broken raw rice to the above mixture of water.
  4. When the kanji is cooked well, add the coconut mixture that we had prepared first and stir it well.
  5. Add coconut milk to it, stir well and take it from the flame.
  6. Fry four red onions in some ghee.
  7. Add the brownish cooked red onions to the prepared jeeraka kanji and boil it again for some time.
  8. Jeeraka Kanji is ready. It¦s a healthy drink for sick people and during the time of fasting.
