Ingredients
  • Kadalapparippu / Split Chick Peas : 1 cup (cooked) –
  • Egg : 5 nos –
  • Sugar : 12 tsp –
  • Cashew nuts : 10 nos –
  • Dry grapes : 10 nos –
Instructions
  1. Beat 5 eggs together with sugar for 10 minutes.

  3. Grind well the cooked Kadalapparippu / split chick peas.

  6. Add this to the egg-sugar mixture.
  7. Beat for 20 more minutes (optional : add 2 tsp of butter to this, which softens the cake).
  8. Cook in a pan on low flame. (A knife inserted in the middle of the cake must come out neatly) This takes around 30 minutes.
