Ingredients
  • Dry rice flakes/Aval(powdered) – 1/2kg
  • Coconut(grated) – 1no
  • Cardamom powder – 1/2tsp
  • Sugar 1tsp
  • Salt(As reqd) –
  • Water(As reqd) –
Instructions
  1. For preparing kerala aval puttu, place the powdered aval in a plate. Add cardamom, sugar, salt and mix with hand.
  2. Sprinkle water in between and mix with aval.
  3. Take a puttu kutti and place coconut first and aval mixture, then again coconut and steam cook it for 8 minutes.
  4. Kerala aval puttu is ready.
