Ingredients
- King Fish(Neymeen) - 1/2 kg
- Coconut oil - 1 tbsp
- Onion(chopped) - 2 nos
- Shallots(chopped, Kunjulli) - 6 nos
- Ginger(garlic paste - 1 tbsp) -
- Tomato(chopped) - 1 no
- Curry leaves - 1 strip
- Chilly powder - 1 tbsp
- Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
- Coriander powder - 1 tsp
- Fennel powder(Perum jeerakam) - 1 tsp
- Kokum(soaked in salted water, Kudam puli) - 2 pieces
- Salt(As reqd) -
- Water - 1 cup

Instructions
- Add all the powders and saute well.
- Add chopped tomato.
- Add water and let the gravy thicken.
- Add the fish pieces and let it cook till done. Add curry leaves and keep the lid closed until done.
- Serve after half hour.
